Week two has been a great experience. This past week, I mostly worked in the Micah Day Center. There, I had the chance to put data into the computers and speak with some of the clients. I also attended an “Art Expressions” class with Kirsten where we made masks. Here, I was able to have a few good laughs with the clients and some of the volunteers. Also, I had the opportunity to have a personal tour of the Keesler Air Force base by a veteran volunteer. This week has been very enjoyable. I learn a lot each and every day, and I’m eager to see what more The Back Bay Mission has in store for me!
