Thank you to Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District’s SHIP for sponsoring!

Vendors met with 200+ community members in need.

In the words of Taylor Swift, “Do you really wanna know where I was April 29th?”

April 29, 2026 – Back Bay Mission welcomed over 200 individuals to campus, along with nearly 50 vendors representing organizations and resources from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Together, we provided neighbors in need with life-changing information they can use to reach stability.

Visitors received lots of goodies like Germ-X, water bottles, fans, and door prizes from each vendor.

Guests arrived as someone in need and leaving as someone with hope.

Thank you to every volunteer, every staff who helped, and every vendor who gave their time and effort to help our unsheltered community.

Our Health & Wellness Program wanted to say a very special thank you to Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District‘s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for sponsoring the event!

Because of you, we were able to reach more people and provide refreshments during the event.

Our staff carried around donuts and water to the various health & resource vendors. From left to right: Rachael, Lindsey, Michael, Kirsten
