The Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic has been supporting charities on the Coast through Birdies for Charity since 2010. This is a great opportunity for you to support the work of Back Bay Mission!
Simply go to the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic Birdies for Charity website and make your pledge. You can either pledge a certain amount of money per birdie during the Classic or a flat pledge to the Mission. Every penny of your pledge will go to Back Bay Mission. So, if you pledge ten cents per birdie and there are 650 birdies during the Classic, that would become a gift of $65!
For those who may not know, a birdie is a score of one stroke better than par on a hole.
In addition, the charities with the most donations will receive a bonus from the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic! The charity with the most donations will receive a ‘match’ up to $7,500; the second most, up to $5,000; and third place, up to $2,500. Your gift can become even more powerful through these bonuses!
Finally, you can win your own prizes through the Guess the Birdies contest. Guess the number of birdies there will be during the Classic, and you can win a yet-to-be-announced grand prize!
