A couple weeks ago, Rev. Pennington got to experience his first CHHSM annual gathering as executive director of Back Bay Mission. Today he shares some thoughts about his experiences, including traveling and representing Back Bay Mission at a national forum.

CHHSM is the Council for Health and Human Service Ministries, an arm of the United Church of Christ (UCC) made up of over 400 service organizations. They usually have a big annual meeting but due to COVID, this year was the first in-person meeting since 2019.
