How many of you like to dance in the rain? Well what about living in the rain? When a thunderstorm comes, most of us can not wait to get inside a warm, dry place and change into something comfy. BUT what if that wasn’t an option? What if you and your loved ones didn’t have a home or a place to seek shelter? Join Sarah Boone, Home at Last caseworker & BBM Outreach Coordinator, as she is joined by BBM Executive Director Rev. James Pennington as they both visit a homeless camp in the woods during a particulary rainy week. It is a rough but real peek into life in the woods and the conditions our homeless and unsheltered population must endure to survive. It is one of longer videos but worth the watch if you’ve never seen the conditions of a camp or even thought about what it is like to live in the rain.
