For more than nine decades, Back Bay Mission has met the urgent needs of low-income individuals and families on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Building on this proud history, we will implement an evidence-based approach to helping the people we serve develop pathways out of poverty.
Our goals for this strategic priority include:
Developing client education and empowerment programs including homeowner education, financial literacy education, and classes based on the Bridges Out of Poverty
Adopting evidence-based approaches to encourage client accountability.
Developing staffing to meet the urgent needs of low-income individuals and families and help them towards long-term sustainability.
Developing and implementing a centralized client-care data system, including intake, tracking, and follow-up.
Developing and implementing a centralized method for tracking program activities, outcomes, and impacts.
