Christmas is a magical season for people around the world. A time full of family and friends. A time when we remember the most wonderful gift: there was born to us this day, in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. The people who have walked in darkness have seen a great light. The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all.
It is a season of good news. And thanks to you Back Bay Mission is on the Mississippi Gulf Coast spreading that good news. The good news of food for the hungry. The good news of a safe, welcoming place to find help. The good news of homes for the homeless. The good news of blessed hope.
But we don’t do this alone. We can do all of this because of you. You are there offering your time, your gifts, and your prayers. You are there strengthening neighborhoods, seeking justice, and transforming lives.
